11:39 PM: jkldajeamf.

Good gosh. I have been neglecting my Tabulas like no other.

Here goes a suuper belated "Happy New Year" to all you Tabulas friendsies ;P Hope everyone's been having a good new year so far.

Winter Break came and went and now I'm well into Winter Quarter 2010 here at UC Irvine. Currently taking 16 units: Education K- 12,  Psych Behavior - Child Development, Calculus, and Biology of Cancer. I was inititally enrolled in 20 units but I realized by day 3 of week 1 that I simply would not survive with that 20-unit workload. SOO, I said goodbye to my English - Comic and Tragic Vision class. Such a shame too...the theme ("Carnical, Masquerade and Disguise") sounded like it'd be really interesting.

I'm still trying to work on not being such a terrible procrastinator. Ugh. I'm a faciliator for the Relax Your Mind and Body stress management workshop series and usually, I'm the co-facilitator that preaches about Stress, Sleep, Time Management, and Procrastination. I need to practice what I preach. Waah.

My best friend Jeff visited me a couple days ago. Even though he was only here for 5 hours, it was nice to get things straightened out. Now, I just gotta get Emily to visit me and finally, ALL of my best friends will have visited me here at my apartment ;P Wishful thinking... [:

Here goes to getting a job and hopefully raising my GPA even more this quarter...

12:49 PM: The last 10 years...

Back at the beginning of the decade, I remember looking at a sparkly wallet that was on clearance. It said "01-01-00" on it and I didn't get it. My sister had to explain it to me, hahaha. Now, 10 years later, that wallet is probably at a Salvation Army or Goodwill or in a dumpster and my sister and I have long moved on to more sophisticated accessories ;P

In the past decade I...

  • 2000-2004: Went through three years of Hell-on-Earth people like to call Middle School. EFF THOSE YEARS. I only remember bits and pieces...I think I've successfully erased it from my memory. Some good memories from those years: having Geography with Emily in 6th grade, being on an awesome "team" in the 7th grade, getting Senora Wileman as a Spanish teacher, and the 8th grade East Coast trip. Gained Jeff, Kelsey, Kittric, and Sarah as friends.
  • 2004-2005: Went to Valhalla High School as a freshman and saw my sister, a senior, do work as a Executive Treasurer and get crowned as Homecoming Queen. Applied for the Yearbook Staff and got in ;P
  • 2005-2006: Sophomore year. Yearbook staff, Key Clubbber, APIC member. Good times. Had AP History and Honors English with Katie, Alex, Kittric, Jeff, Paul, and so many other great people. Held a puppet show for one of our group projects, became a 4-pack of best friends, had fun almost every Friday Night at Coronado or anywhere around San Diego
  • 2006-2007: Junior year. Copy Editor of yearbook and still a Key Clubber and APIC member. Had AP classes with amazing people again. Suffered through AP tests and filmed an embarassing YouTube video for our AP English Lit class.
  • 2007-2008: Senior Year. Copy Editor again, Co-president of Key Club and president of APIC. Had my own parking spot in the parking lot, attempted to take AP Physics but dropped it and became an ELL tutor with Jeff, stressed LIKE NO OTHER over college applications, ditched school a few times, was part of a seemily inseparable best friend 3-pack, worked as an official SD County Poll Worker during the primaries, had a overly complicated prom night, started seeing those end of high school "changes" everyone goes through, sent my SIR to UC Irvine, graduated from high school.
  • 2008-2009/10: Hello, UC Irvine. Struggled like a baby Anteater the first quarter of college and cried over my pitiful GPA, took leadership classes, was an active MCC member and designed the MCC shirt, gained 2 non-Asian best friends who were also from San Diego, took more leadership classes, got my GPA over a 3.0, decided to major in Public Health Policy, got an on-campus apartment and lucked out with 3 amaing roommates, became a co-facilitator of the UCI Health Center Relax Your Mind & Body Stress Managemet Workshop series.

What an extreme summary of the past decade of my life. Left out so much stuff but whatever.
